Nebraska Golf Expo was a Huge Success!

The 2010 First Annual Nebraska Golf Expo held at the Qwest Center in Omaha was a huge success.  The combination of 70 vendors and thousands of attendees made for a very nice event that golfers of all ages enjoyed.  A very special thank you to all of the event sponors (Alegent Health, Markel Automotive, Nebraska PGA, Nebraska Golf Association, Boulevard, River of Hope Foundation, Rock Garden Nursery, JamesDugan and 44 Interactive).  The following are just a few of the results from the weekends festivities:

The Best Putter in Nebraska has officially been named.  Todd Brewer won a one hole playoff over Scott Martin to claim his title.  Finishing in third place for this two-day event was Brett Beal.

The state of the art simulator was host to both Long Drive and Closest to the Pin contests.  Here are the results:

Long Drive Men

1st Place - Dan Walkewicz (335 yards)

2nd Place - Andrew Frakes (330 yards)

Long Drive Women

1st Place - Judy Nabouer (235 yards)

2nd Place - Jenny Schneider (232 yards)
